Our Mission
Society for India is Cornell University's South Asian group on-campus and strives to promote South Asian culture and awareness through various events. Our goal is to foster cross-cultural interaction transcending all geographical boundaries as well as providing a strong support system that thrives to provide personal and professional assistance to all Cornell students.
What we do
We're committed to various initiatives throughout the year, both in the Ithaca and Cornell community. Through events such as Diya Jale, co-sponsoring Mock Shaadi, Fall Garba, and many others, we hope to build a network of students that love getting involved with their South Asian community on campus. In addition, our Executive Board plans many other initiatives throughout the year to dedicate ourselves to the betterment of cultural incorporation on-campus.
